"Revolutionizing Mosaic Art"

September 2008 - Heroes & Hearts

ExactMosaics was one of only six artists selected to create a large mosaic heart (5’9’’ wide by 5’" high and 3’3’’" thick 3-D) for the 2009 Heroes & Hearts fundraiser by the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. After being displayed at the event, the Heart will be sold and/or auctioned, with all proceeds benefiting the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. The Large Heart will remain at Union Square or another location around the City for approx. 9 months before being delivered to the buyer.

We are also holding a solo exhibit at the Institute of Mosaic Art from October 1 - November 23rd (Wed to Sun from 11am to 5pm). Admission is free. Please stop by the IMA to see our work at 3001 Chapman St. Oakland, CA 94601

ABOUT EXACTMOSAICS
ExactMosaics makes custom stone mosaics for floors and surface coverings. It offers the most detailed stone mosaics ever created. The company uses pattern recognition software to determine the placement of each stone. By using the natural striations within each stone, these mosaics achieve near-photographic image quality. No printing, painting, or staining of the stones is used. The company draws on over 100 different types of marble which span the full range of colors.

For Architects and Designers, we are very interested in providing you with a design for a custom mosaic to show your client. If you are even considering incorporating a mosaic into one of your projects, we encourage you to contact us an request a design proof. Our proofs are jpeg image files that are actual representations of what the final mosaic will look like. You can load these images into your CAD design to show your client how the installed mosaic will overall project.
